The Superstock 1000 race at the fourth round of the 2009 Italian Speed Championship mirrored the qualifying runs of Michelin’s Alessio Aldrovandi (Team QDP) and Simone Saltarelli (Team Bosseli Race). The two riders started from 22nd and 23rd on the grid and took the chequered flag in 21st and 23rd positions respectively.
